A French pivot developed through the national training academy and youth international programs, Imen Chagh played for the French U16 and U18 national teams—including an appearance at the U18 European Championship—before joining the Neptunes de Nantes youth academy in 2023. She quickly gained top-level experience by joining the professional squad for the Ligue Butagaz Énergie and European competition, where the team reached the Final Four and finished third. Following the club's liquidation, she continued her career by signing her first professional contract with Nantes Handball Féminin.
